Wednesday, April 22nd marks the 45th anniversary of Earth Day. Earth Day was founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson, and was first organized in 1970 to promote ecology and respect for life on the planet as well as to encourage awareness of the growing problems of air, water and soil pollution.
What are your plans to educate and give back to the Earth? We have listed a few great ideas below:
- Recycle! Encourage others!
- Plant a butterfly garden
- Start a compost pile
- Plant a tree with others!
